PRP Therapy For Hair Loss
HOW IS PRP TREATMENT CARRIED OUT?
At Beyond Medispa, we offer PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy treatments for hair loss.
- We safely draw a small amount of blood from your arm, which is then spun in a machine to separate the plasma from the red blood cells.
- The plasma is then injected back into the scalp in small injections.

HOW IT WORKS
PRP uses your own cells, which is one of the reasons it is often considered safer than other injectable alternatives. A blood sample is taken from your arm and placed in a centrifuge. This is to separate the blood into three layers – plasma, platelets and blood cells. Once separated, the PRP is reintroduced into the skin to the area required.
By doing this, PRP encourages cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production. Some of the benefits of this include;
- Enhanced skin brightness
- Anti-ageing benefits
- Reduces sun damage
- Creates a natural glow
WHO CAN HAVE PRP TREATMENT?
You should avoid PRP if you have a history of blood diseases, including clotting or bleeding disorders. All clients are given a full consultation before treatment, to decide if it is right for you.
