What is Alidya?

Which areas can be treated with Alidya?
Alidya can be used to treat any area of cellulite, but is most commonly used to treat the buttock and thigh area.
How many sessions are required?
The number of treatments depends on the individual patient and we be able to advise further at your consultation. Usually 3-6 applications are required, 1 week apart.

IS CELLULITE CAUSED BY FAT?
No, cellulite isn’t necessarily caused by fat. Cellulite results from a multitude of factors and completely unrelated to your body fat percentage. In fact, even those at their ideal body weight often suffer from cellulite. Alidya only targets cellulite.
HOW LONG DOES ALIDYA LAST?
The effects of Alidya usually last for one year, however this depends on the patient. The treatment can be reapplied as needed.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS?
Alidya’s side effects are mostly from the injection rather than the treatment itself. Therefore, bruises and haematomas can be caused and will resolve over time.
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER THE ALIDYA TREATMENT?
After the treatment, avoid touching the injection site for the first few hours. Avoid the application of makeup or cosmetics on and around the application site. Avoid heat such as sunbathing, sun beds, hot showers or baths for the first 48 hours.
